A late 19th century 9ct gold and silver gem-set butterfly stickpin. The oval ruby cabochon abdomen and old-cut diamond body, to the old-cut diamond wings, with circular green-gem cabochon head. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. French assay marks to pin. Length of butterfly 1cm. Weight 1.6cms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The gems to the body are foil-backed, moderate abrasions. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Yellow glue/dirt to the back of some of the diamonds. Length of stickpin 5.3cms.
