Edwardian matched pair of novelty salts modelled as gondolas. Hallmarked  Carrington & Co (John Bodman Carrington) or Holland, Aldwinckle & Slater London 1902. Length measuring 4 3/4 inches (12 cm), gross combined weight 5.5 ozt (171 grams).

The salts appear in good overall condition with general scratches and marks, however heavily tarnished and would require a clean and polish, the gilding to the interiors is in similar condition. The maker's marks are partly rubbed, the hallmarks clear and legible.
