Lot Description
Early twentieth century silver bachelor tea service comprising teapot, twin handled sugar basin and cream jug, each of plain oval form with a guilloche style border and raised above an oval footed base, the teapot with ebonised handle and finial, the cream and sugar with leaf capped scroll handles. Hallmarked Docker & Burn Ltd., Birmingham 1925. Gross combined weight 14 ozt (437.5 grams).

Condition Report
All three pieces display general wear and light surface marks and scratches. Also some minor nicks in the metal in places and some slight loss of detail to the border decoration. The teapot lid displays a couple of small dints, the hinges are in good working order. Hallmarks slightly rubbed but still clear and legible. Both the sugar basin and cream jug display some small surface dints around the main body. The hallmarks on these two are quite rubbed but still legible.
