Art Deco silver tea strainer of plain circular form raised above a stepped base and supporting a detachable sieve with twin Art Deco stepped handles. Hallmarked G W Lewis & Co Birmingham 1943. Width including handles 4 inches (10 cm), weight 2.2 ozt (71 grams).

The tea strainer appears in good overall condition displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The hallmarks to the bowl appear rubbed but clearly legible, the hallmarks to the sieve are clear and legible.
