Lot Description

A 1940's plain silver twin handled tray of oblong form with canted corners and a shaped raised border.  Hallmarked William Suckling Ltd., Birmingham 1940.  Length including handles measures 19 3/4 inches (50 cm), weight 46.2 ozt (1437 grams).

The tray is quite tarnished all over and displays general surface wear, marks and scratches.  Numerous deeper and longer scratches are visible, to the centre and also to the underside.  There are various ring marks visible to the centre of the tray.  Hallmarks are clear and legible.
