Condition Report
The tin is quite tarnished all over and displays numerous areas of darker spots of tarnishing. It also displays general surface wear, marks and scratches, in keeping with the age and use. Some longer and deeper scratches to some areas and also various minor nicks. Slight loss of detail to gadrooning in places. Hinged lid in good working order, although the pin is protruding at one end. Contact marks to flange, caused by the opening and closing of lid. Also contact marks to underside of tin. All hallmarks are clear and legible.
