Lot Description

A 1940's plain silver salver with a 'Chippendale' style border and raised above three scrolled feet.  Hallmarked Adie Brothers Ltd., Birmingham 1949.  Maximum diameter measures 12 1/8 inches (31 cm), weight 31.76 ozt (987.8 grams).

The salver is quite tarnished all over and displays general surface wear, marks and scratches.  Some deeper and longer scratches visible to some areas and also various minor nicks in the metal all over.  There are three large ring marks visible to the centre of the tray.  Hallmarks are clear and legible.
