Early George III silver waiter of shaped circular form, with oblique gadrooning to the raised rim and standing on three hoof feet. Hallmarked Richard Rugg I, London 1766. Maximum diameter measures 6 3/4 inches (17 cm), weight 8.6 ozt (267.4 grams).

Condition Report
The waiter displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Deeper scratches are visible to some areas and various minor nicks. Impressions and slight dints from two of the feet are visible around the rim and a split in the metal is visible in one of these areas. This same foot has been pushed inwards slightly. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
