Lot Description
A 1930's silver twin handled trophy cup, the plain goblet body engraved to the front Manchester Columbarian Society 'The Antwerp Cup', above named winners and dates, raised above a knopped stem and spreading circular base. On an ebonised circular plinth. Hallmarked James Fenton & Co., Birmingham 1930. Height including handles (excluding plinth) measures 9 1/8 inches (23.2 cm), weight 7.78 ozt (241.8 grams).

Condition Report
Trophy displays general wear, spots and patches of tarnishing and general surface marks and scratches. Several surface dints visible including a large one to the reverse and some smaller ones to the front. Deeper scratches to some areas, also various minor nicks and remnants of polish. The main rim appears a little misshapen and one of the handles is squashed at the top. Hallmarks are clear and legible.
