Lot Description
Early twentieth century small silver twin handled trophy cup, the main body decorated below the rim with embossed flowerhead and foliate motifs and with a formalized leaf pattern to the lower section, raised above a beaded knopped stem and spreading circular base with conforming flower and leaf border. On a circular ebonised plinth. Hallmarked Elkington & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1911. Height including handles (excluding plinth) measures 6 inches (15.2 cm), weight 4.56 ozt (142 grams).

Condition Report
Trophy displays general wear, areas and spots of heavier tarnishing and general surface marks and scratches. Deeper scratches to some areas and remnants of polish. There are also a small number of minor surface dints and slight loss of detail to decoration in places. Hallmarks are slightly rubbed but still clear and legible. Plinth also bears an Elkington & Co plaque.
