Edwardian silver mounted manicure set, comprising two glass vanity pots, a nail buffer and various other nail implements, each silver mount decorated with an all over dimpled pattern, all in a fitted case, most pieces hallmarked J & R Griffin (Joseph & Richard Griffin) Chester 1903; together with a slightly later cased manicure set with plain silver mounts, mainly hallmarked Synyer & Beddoes, Birmingham 1910, and a further single silver mounted nail buffer. Condition Report
All pieces display general wear and surface marks and scratches and also tarnishing to some pieces, all commensurate with their age and usage. Some deeper scratches to some items and various minor nicks. There are also some small surface dints visible to some pieces. There is some rust visible to some of the metal sections. The mount on the single buffer is very tarnished. There is some distortion to some of the hallmarks but mainly legible. Deterioration to cases.
