Lot Description
Early twentieth century silver trophy cup, the plain circular body leading to a short stem decorated with two continuous bands of large bead motifs, the whole with twin loop handles and mounted on a circular wooden base. Hallmarked Manoah Rhodes & Sons Ltd., London 1928. Height including handles measures 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm).

Condition Report
Cup displays general light tarnishing, surface wear and general surface marks and scratches. Deeper scratches to some areas and various minor nicks and pin prick marks in the metal. Main rim is very slightly misshapen. Solder is visible to the join of the base of the handles to the main body. Maker's mark slightly distorted but still legible, other marks clear.
