Lot Description

Edwardian silver coffee pot of plain tapered form, personal presentation engraving, scrolling ebonised handle, dome lid with baluster finial, acanthus mounted spout and raised above a circular stepped foot. Hallmarked Martin, Hall & Co (Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall) Sheffield 1907, numbered 01872B.  Height measuring 8 1/2 inches (21.5 cm), weight 17.4 ozt (543 grams).

The coffee pot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Small dints and bumps visible, in particular to the lid. Handle wear. The hallmarks appear rubbed but legible.
