Lot Description
Early twentieth century silver table cigarette box of plain rectangular form, engine turned decoration to the lid with small vacant plaque to one corner and opening to reveal a wooden interior with single divider. Hallmarked London 1925. Measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm) by 3 1/2 inches (9cm).

Condition Report
The box is very heavily tarnished all over and there are numerous surface scratches and marks. There is more wear to the edges and corners and some small surface dints The hinges are in working order, however the lid is a very tight fit and once closed is difficult to open. Some distortion to hallmarks, mainly to the maker's marks, which are illegible.
