George III Neoclassical large silver salver of plain circular form, applied beaded rim set with eight oval panels depicting classical figures, the central body engraved with the crest for LEIGH of West Hall, High Legh, Knutsford, Cheshire and raised above four tapering feet with beaded rim and scroll toe. Hallmarked John Crouch I & Thomas Hannam London 1778. Diameter 16 1/2 inches (42 cm), weight 64.1 ozt (1995 grams).

Condition Report
The salver appears in good structural condition displaying general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing visible and would benefit from a clean and polish. The hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's mark and passant visible to the applied rim.
