Lot Description
A George III silver teapot, stand and cream jug, of oval bellied form, the teapot with bands of bright-cut floral engraving and cartouche, with wooden finial and handle, on an oval footed base, with matching cream jug. Hallmarked Duncan Urquhart & Naphtali Hart, London 1800. Height of teapot (without stand) 6 8/5 inches (16.8cm). Gross weight 22.88 ozt (711.6 grams).

Condition Report
The lot is in fair overall condition. The stand has a slightly bent leg, there are old deep gouges to the underside, the stand is slightly wonky. The teapot spout has small dents to the edge, possible small repair near the base of the spout with minor pitting. The hallmarks are slightly worn but legible, makers marks significantly worn to the jug and teapot. The jug has a dent to the spout and a possible old repair near the handle. Wear to the gilt finish. There are some old white sticky labels to the base of all three.
