A mid-twentieth century Italian dish of oval form with raised shaped edge with foliate engraving and scroll rim.  Italian hallmarks for Milano, 800 standard and the maker 47. Maximum length measuring 11 1/2 inches (29 cm), weight 9.6 ozt (300 grams).
