Lot Description
A Victorian silver server in the form of a shovel with and bright cut engraved decoration, hallmarked Chawner & Co London 1879. Together with a pair of Victorian silver Apostle spoons and matching sugar sifter, each with shell shaped bowls and figurative terminals, hallmarked William Hutton & Sons Ltd London 1894. Gross combined silver weight 8.5 ozt (266 grams).

Condition Report
The shovel shaped serving slice is in good condition with general scratches and marks and wear commensurate with the age and use, the engraving appears sharp with very little rubbing, no personal engravings visible, the hallmarks appear clear and legible. The Apostle spoons and sifter are heavily tarnished along with general wear and tear, the bowls also possibly previously gilded, the hallmarks to both the spoons and the sugar sifter are very visible with a small amount of rubbing.
