A 1930's silver handled pair of presentation grape scissors, with twin loop handles and a foliate engraved pierced middle section with presentation engraving to one side 'Presented to The Right Worshipful The Mayor of Salford (Alderman William Greenwood JP) at the opening of Jubilee Bridge' and date 'Third of May 1935' to the other. In original fitted case. Hallmarked Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1933. Length measures 6 1/8 inches (15.5 cm).
