A Victorian silver mounted butter knife with mother of pearl handle. Hallmarked Martin, Hall & Co 1856. Length measuring 7 ¾ inches (19.5 cm).

The butter knife appears in good overall condition displaying general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. A personal engraving may have been removed from the terminal. Minor hairline fractures to the mother of pearl. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
