Lot Description

A set of five Early Victorian silver Fiddle Pattern teaspoons with initialled terminals, hallmarked William Eaton London 1838. Together with a George IV silver teaspoon, a Georgian silver teaspoon, a Victorian silver Fiddle Pattern table spoon and a silver handled pistol grip knife. Gross weighable silver 7.6 ozt (237 grams).

All items display noticeable general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. The George IV and Georgian teaspoon have particular wear to the bowls, the table spoon also displaying some wear to the edge of the bowl. The blade on the pistol grip knife is in poor condition and would require replacing. All items apart from the knife have personal engravings. The set of teaspoons have tarnishing from being stored within an elastic band. The hallmarks to the Georgian teaspoon are only part visible and very worn, all remaining marks appear clear and legible.
