A George III silver cream jug, of helmet form on a square shape base, beaded rim and reeded handle, with bright-cut ribbon and swag engraving, AF. Hallmarked for John Denzilow, London 1784. Maximum height 6 7/8 inches (17.5cm). Weight 6.87ozt (213.4 grams).

The lot is in poor overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The crest section has been repaired/replaced. There are small splits to the rim of the jug and there is an old repair also to the rim. There is a repair to the base of the handle.  The makers mark is poorly struck. No duty mark.
