A collection of predominantly Fiddle Pattern flatware, to include a set of six Fiddle Pattern table forks, monogrammed, Hallmarked Paul Storr London 1817; a set of eight Fiddle Pattern desert spoons, monogrammed, hallmarked Chawner & Co London 1869; a composite set of four Fiddle Pattern table forks, crested, hallmarked Chawner & Co London 1854-1858 and two similar, hallmarked Mary Chawner London 1839, together with a pair of Old English table spoons, uncrested, hallmarked Holland, Aldwinckle & Slater London 1904. Gross weight 55.16 ozt (1715.7 grams).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The Paul Storr forks are monogrammed with a script B. Some scratches to the backs of the tips of the tines. Hallmarks slightly rubbed, makers marks more rubbed. Slight elastic band black staining to the sides mid way down the stems. The six Chawner forks are in a similar condition with slightly more wear to the tines, a couple of tines slightly bent and the very tips slightly nipped, crest of a sheep or similar carrying a pendant. The Chawner & Co spoons have slight wear to the tips of some of the bowls with some small dents. There is minor-significant black discolouration from elastic bands to the middle of the stems, monogrammed JCMS. One of the set of hallmarks shows moderate wear. The pair of old English pattern spoons show shallow dents to the bowls and scuffs.
