A Victorian dwarf silver cream jug, the bulbous body embossed with scrolling acanthus leaves and flowers. Hallmarked William Devenport Birmingham 1897. Height measuring 2 1/2 inches (6 cm), weight 1.6 ozt (52.3 grams).

Condition Report
The cream jug displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Polish visible to the recesses. There is a little distortion and snagging to the rim. The lower join of the handle has come away. The cartouche is currently vacant. The hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's mark partly worn.
