George III cased pair of silver buttons of circular form engraved with a hunting scene of a horse and rider jumping a fence. Hallmarked Susannah Barker, Duty mark, Lion passant and maker’s mark only. Diameter measuring approximately 3 cm, gross weight 14 grams.

Condition Report
Both buttons display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. There is some slight loss of detail to the decoration but the images are still clear. There is more wear and some minor knocks around the edge of each button and some deeper scratches are visible in the decoration and also to the underside of each. The hallmarks on both are clear and legible.
