An early twentieth century small silver mounted rattle with a mother of pearl mouthpiece, the lobed ovoid shape silver mount with two rattle attachments, hallmarked Chester, possibly 1918, maker's mark WA; together with a further rattle for a baby with a metal mount. (2).

Condition Report
Both rattles display general wear and surface marks and scratches and the mounts on both are quite tarnished. A couple of minor surface nicks and dints to the silver mount, hallmarks are a little distorted, mainly the date letter. The mouth piece on the other mount is likely to be red plastic imitating coral
