Condition Report
Both candlesticks display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Seam lines are visible and there are some floods of solder around joins, which have now discoloured. Deeper scratches to some areas and small nicks and dints. Both central stems are leaning very slightly. Both have some notch marks around rim of each socket and detachable nozzle. Hallmarks on the earlier example around the edge of the base rim are slightly cut off but still legible, also part hallmarks around socket, which are quite distorted. The later candlestick has very clear hallmarks to underside of base and a further punched mark around the socket, which is illegible. Both detachable nozzles are unmarked.
