An early twentieth century silver cigarette case of slightly curved oblong form, vertical stripe decoration to both sides with a vacant shield cartouche to the front, hallmarked Joseph Gloster Ltd., Birmingham 1912; together with two other similar examples, one plain with engraved monogram to the front, hallmarked Birmingham 1918, the other with engine turned decoration, hallmarked Birmingham 1922. Gross combined weight 8.64 ozt (268.6 grams). (3).

Condition Report
All three cases display areas of tarnishing and general surface wear, marks and scratches to interiors and exteriors, all commensurate with age and use. There are numerous deeper scratches visible to some areas, also loss of detail to decoration in places and various minor nicks. There are also several surface dints visible, mainly to the 1912 and 1922 cases, some of these dents are quite large. Hinges and clasps are all in working order and hallmarks are all clear and legible.
