Condition Report
The box displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. There is more wear to edges and corners, deeper scratches to some areas and various minor nicks. There are also some small surface dints visible. The interior base and the underside display a large number of deeper and larger scratches and the four base corners show considerable wear on the underside. Hinged lid is in good working order. Hallmarks to the underside are clear and legible, very slight rubbing to the maker's mark. The boulder opal does display some small chips, especially to the underside. There is a scattering of colour, mainly flecks of green and red/orange and mainly on the lizard.
