Condition Report
Both cases display general wear, some tarnishing and general surface marks and scratches. There are various minor nicks in the metal and more wear to edges and corners, where there are a couple of small surface dints. The hinged cover on the earlier example is working but is now quite loose, contact marks to flange. Deeper scratches are visible, especially to the cartouche. Hallmarks are slightly rubbed but still legible. The other example is very heavily tarnished with numerous deeper scratches all over and loss of detail to decoration in some areas. There are a couple of notable surface dints towards the bottom of the case. Part hallmarks on the outer lid are quite rubbed but still legible, full hallmarks to the flange are very clear.
