Victorian silver christening mug of straight sided tapered form with reeded banding and personal name engraving. Hallmarked William Evans London 1865. Height measuring 3 1/4 inches (8 cm), weight 5 ozt (155 grams).

The christening mug displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. There are some pits and deeper scratches and marks in keeping with the age and use. The interior appears quite discoloured in areas. The hallmarks a little rubbed but clear and legible.
