Lot Description
George II silver teapot of inverted pear form, embossed and chased with floral scrolls and shells, leaf-capped scroll spout, bud finial and fruit wood handle, patched, handle AF. Hallmarked Fuller White London 1748. Height measuring 5 1/2 inches (14 cm), gross weight 16 ozt (498 grams).

Condition Report
The teapot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use, further heavy wear and tear visible. As mentioned in the description the body has been patched in 2 areas, with large oval replacement panels. There are cracks to the silver around the hinge. The decoration has rubbed with loss of definition in some areas, also a couple of holes to the high embossing. Numerous minor dints and dents. The handle has broken off. The hallmarks to the underside are clear and legible, no marks present to the lid.
