Condition Report
Both casters display general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing is visible and both would benefit from a clean and polish. Both also display various minor nicks, some small surface dints and knocks and remnants of tape marks to the main body. On the smaller caster, there is a possible repair to the top of the detachable lid as there is some loss of detail and the finial leans very slightly. Hallmarks to the underside on this caster are slightly rubbed but still legible. The lid bears the lion passant standard mark only and this is rubbed but still legible. The hallmarks to the underside of the larger caster are clear and legible. Part hallmarks to the lid consist of maker's mark and lion passant standard mark.
