Lot Description
A pair of early twentieth century silver sauce boats, each designed as an ovoid body, supported on three scroll and shell feet, to the scrolling acanthus leaf handle, with gadrooned rim. Hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ltd, London 1912 and 1914. Maximum height 4 3/4 inches (12.1cm). Weight 22.63 ozt (703.7 grams).

Condition Report
The sauce boats display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Script monogram LBA to both. One has a noticeable dent to the underside of the body and a more shallow dent near a foot. The hallmarks are clear and legible to one, slightly rubbed to the other.
