A late Victorian silver bachelor teapot of oval form, part lobed and central reeded band. Hallmarked Henry Stratford; Henry Stratford Ltd London 1900. Maximum height measuring 5 inches (12.5 cm), weight 11.4 ozt (354 grams).

The teapot displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing visible and would benefit from a clean and polish. Particular discoloration to the interior.  The hinge and handle allow a little sideways movement. The lid just rising in the closed position. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
