A late 19th century 12ct gold and silver diamond star and crescent brooch. The old-cut diamond twelve ray star, to the graduated similarly-cut diamond crescent. Estimated total diamond weight 6cts, H-I colour, VS1-SI2 clarity. Diameter 3.4cms. Weight 12.2gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. The brooch has been heavily polished, there are slight scratches and wear in places. The diamonds are bright, there are inclusions easily visible to some with magnification. Some of the settings may need to be secured. The brooch back fitting has been added at a later date, there would have been a previous removable back fitting, the screw panel is still present.
