Lot Description
MURRLE BENNETT- an early 20th century 9ct peridot pendant. Of openwork design, the oval-shape peridot collet within a foliate surround, suspending a pear-shape peridot drop, to the later gold plated plain bar. Maker's mark for Murrle Bennett. Length of pendant 2.6cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are slight scratches to the pendant in keeping with the age of the piece. There is abrasion to the facet edges of the peridot visible with magnification, the millegrain collets appear a little worn. The back of the pendant is stamped 9ct. the gold stamp and makers stamp is worn yet legible. The back gold plated bar has been added at a later date, the pin is metal and the gold plating has worn in places. The suspended loop to the pendant has been removed.
