An opal, sapphire and diamond bee brooch. The oval opal cabochon body and head, with diamond point accents, to the diamond point wings and circular-shape sapphire eyes. Length 3cms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The diamonds appear moderately bright, estimated total diamond spread weight 0.85ct, though this in no way indicates the actual total diamond weight. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades, some of the diamonds are significantly chipped. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The sapphires are a light, slightly greyish blue hue and are in a closed back setting. There is glue visible to the surface of the sapphires, minor abrasion. The opals are in a closed back setting and have a good play of colour, predominantly green and orange flashes.
