A late Victorian onyx and split pearl brooch. The circular onyx cabochon, with central split pearl star inset, to the rope-twist surround. Diameter 2.8cms.

The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The pin is slightly bent, possibly a replacement. The split pearls are slightly discoloured. Wear to the gilt finish. The star rotates freely. Weight 12.7gms.
