A late 19^th century 9ct gold tiger claw and sapphire brooch. The tiger claw, with circular and oval-shape sapphire accents and scrolling mount, to the bulbous terminal bar. Length 5.3cms. Weight 6.3gms.

Condition Report

The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The claw has noticeable cracks. Wear to the gilt finish. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The sapphires are moderately well matched, most with a medium deep blue, some have a paler greenish blue hue. Minor-moderate abrasion.
