Lot Description

A 9ct gold aquamarine, diamond and cultured pearl floral brooch. The cultured pearl, within a single-cut diamond and oval-shape aquamarine petal surround, to the circular-shape aquamarine foliate spray. Maker's mark for Alabaster and Wilson. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1986. Length 4.1cms. Weight 9.2gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition good. There are slight scratches to the brooch in keeping with slight wear. The cultured pearl is in good condition and the diamonds are bright, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment.

. The aquamarines, slightly vary in shade, some of the circular-shape stones more greeny in hue. There is slight abrasion to the facet edges of some, visible with magnification. The maker's stamp and hallmark is clear. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones. The back pin is difficult to open and would need attention.
