Lot Description
A continental mid 19th century 18ct gold hardstone cameo and polychrome enamel pendant. The oval-shape hardstone, carved to depict a Roman gentleman, to the polychrome enamel surround with bead detail. French assay marks. Length 6.7cms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The hardstone man is wearing a laurel leaf and robes and has minor surface scratches. The enamel has some very minor nicks and losses with some of the blue dots missing from the mount and a very small chip to one of the scrolling terminals. The interchangeable mount appears stuck at present.
