A mid 19th century French 18ct gold amethyst bracelet. Of openwork design, the three oval-shape amethysts each within a floral surround, to the scrolling foliate panel spacers and floral fancy-link bracelet. Length 19.6cms. Weight 32.8gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Each of the amethyst mounts have between two and six claws missing. Areas of reddish discolouration. French makers mark to the clasp tongue, partially rubbed. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The amethyst have moderate colour zoning and surface scratches. Central amethyst dimensions 17 by 14mms, by 8.6mms deep.
