A 1950s 9ct gold diamond and freshwater cultured pearl brooch. The old-cut diamond within a collet setting, suspending a freshwater cultured pearl, to the plain bar. Estimated diamond weight 0.15ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1952. Length 3.9cms. Weight 3gms.

Overall condition good. Light scratches in keeping with general wear. Diamond lively and bright. Freshwater cultured pearl ivory white with pink and green overtones. Minor surface blemishes. One more significant nick to the base of the freshwater cultured pearl.
