A Victorian gold gem-set ring. The oval-shape garnet, with rectangular-shape garnet-topped-doublet sides and split pearl spacers, to the scrolling gallery, late Victorian replacement shoulders and half-band. Weight 2gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair to good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The band has been replaced, with partial 15ct gold hallmarks to the half-band, the half-band with scrolling foliate engraving. The openwork shoulders are also replacements with discolouration and pitting visible. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. Both garnet-topped-doublets show small chips to the edges. The oval-shape garnet is a purple red hue and has significant cracks. Ring size O 1/2.
