ROLEX - an 18k rose gold automatic gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Day-Date wrist watch circa 1955, the black dial with hourly applied gilt batons alternating with diamond dot markers, day and date apertures positioned to twelve and three o'clock, bordered by a minute track, fluted bezel, tonneau shaped case, reference number 6611, serial number 214170, fitted to an authentic black alligator strap with gold plated pin buckle, signed calibre 1055. Case width 36mm.

Rolex Day-Date wrist watch, movement is currently functioning however movement is noticeably tarnished and scratched, rotor does not move freely, dial shows marks, stones set to dial are fairly well matched and lively, hourly applied markers show light scratches, the inner bezel is scratched, the inner bezel and dial to the ten o'clock point have score marks, dial appears to have been refurbished over the damage which may indicate that the dial as a whole has been refinished, hands are lightly scratched, glass is lightly scratched from use, case has medium scratches from use, lugs show damage to the back from where a bracelet was previously attached, watch is fitted to a Rolex alligator strap which is showing signs of wear with creases and discolouration to the back, pin buckle is scratched.
