A 9ct gold manual wind gentleman's Mappin wrist watch, the silvered dial with hourly applied batons, subsidiary recorder dial positioned to six o'clock, round case with personal engraving to rear, fitted to a non-original black leather strap with pin buckle, unsigned movement. Case diameter 30mm.

A Mappin wrist watch, movement is currently functioning, dial is marked and lightly scratched, rings of discolouration and debris to the subsidiary seconds dial, scratches to the batons, hands are scratched and lightly discoloured, glass is lightly scratched, may polish out, case has medium scratches and tiny dints, a few small score mark on edge of case, porbably caused when the case was opened, personla engraving to the rear that reads 'Presented to Mr. J.R BARBER by B.S.C FOOTWEAR SUPPLIES LTD BARDOLPH ST. LEICESTER for 25 years loyal service 1949-1974', crown shows signs of rubbing and is lightly scratched from use, strap is in fairly good condition, but is beginning to show signs of wear and creasing, pin buckle has medium scratches and is lightly pitted.
