Lot Description
A silver manual wind gentleman's trench style wrist watch, the white enamel dial with hourly applied Arabic numerals, red twelve, subsidiary seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, bordered by a minute track, square shaped case with rounded corners and a presentation inscription to the rear, import hallmarks for London 1917, fitted to a non-original brown camel strap with gold plated pin buckle, unsigned movement. Case width 32mm.

Condition Report
A trench style wrist watch, the manual wind movement is currently functioning, the dial appears to be cracked in a few places, especially from the centre to twelve, three and six o'clock, luminous inserts are tarnished and discoloured, glass shows superficial scratches to the whole surface, noticeable under closer inspection, case is scuffed and slightly darkened around the winding crown, engraved inscription to the back of the case " Presented by Volunteers 26th Sept. 1918", leather strap is in a very good condition.
