Lot Description
A late 19th century 15ct gold amethyst and seed pearl pendant. The kite-shape amethyst, within a seed pearl surround, to the lattice-work gallery and hinged surmount. Length 3.3cms. Weight 7.2gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair to good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. There is an area of heavier scratches to the mount. The loop surmount is a different colour, possible replacement. Two of the seed pearl prongs have noticeable soft solder repair. One of the seed pearls is slightly larger than the others with a more yellow body colour, possible replacement. The amethyst has a moderately large, shallow chip to the pavillion facets.
