A mid 20th century platinum and gold gem-set floral bar brooch. The old-cut diamond, within an oval opal cabochon and circular-shape demantoid garnet petal surround, to the tapered bar and circular opal cabochon terminals. Estimated diamond weight 0.20ct. Length 6.8cms. Weight 4.9gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The diamond appears bright with small, scattered inclusions. Minor discolouration to the gold. The demantoid garnets are well matched, some slightly more vibrant than others, moderate abrasion, some with slight horsetail inclusions. The opals are well matched with good play of colour, moderate abrasion.
